What to know before we get started…
How Comprehend PT Works
- Comprehend PT will scan the template in your EMR and populate the fields it can identify into the Chrome Extension. You need to create instructions for each detected field.
- Click the drop-down arrow in each section to add or edit instructions.
Template Creation & Instructions:
- Our Chrome extension brings in data from your EMR and automatically creates a template based on which note you’re open on
- For example if you’re open on a daily eval, it will create a ‘daily eval’ template. This template will always be brought up whenever you’re doing an eval
- You'll need to add instructions under each field seen in the Chrome extension.
- Once you add instructions, they'll be saved for that specific template
What are instructions?
Instructions are where you guide the AI. Write to the AI as if you were telling a real scribe how you want your notes written. It performs best with explicit direction and short sentences.
